on 2006-11-17These speakers sound great especially for such a reasonable price. I purchased these to have at work so I could listen to my iPod. With the previous portable speakers I had there was a hissing sound in the background and the sound quality was average. With these Altec Lansing speakers the difference was very noticeable - no hiss, great full sound. These speakers were hooked up when I went to Target so I was able to listen to them before I purchased them. After buying them I compared them to the harmon kardon speakers that came with my computer, these Altec Lansing speakers blow those away.
I also listened to 2 other models by Altec Lansing - the VS2321 model was only $20 more and included a subwoofer, the next model up was about $80 again with a subwoofer - both had fanta... (Read Full Review)
