on 2006-10-22This case is rugged and shock absorbent. I've had many different cloth and neoprene cases in the past, and they just don't live up to this one.
I don't usually post reviews for products, but this case made it through a summer in Canada and some fall hunting so far. I believe it has "saved" my GPS from damage at least on 4 different occasions. I have been using this case on my Garmin GPSmap 76c since May of 2006.
The GPS fits snuggly (but not too tightly) and the zipper seam makes it easy to remove for battery replacement and connection to a computer for uploads and downloads. The extra long strap fit nicely around my large neck, and beats the heck out of wrist straps (the strap can be adjusted so it can be used as wrist strap if desired). The case provide a ...
