Product Information
With this television program, writer Joss Whedon gained the creative freedom necessary to achieve his vision--a freedom that was denied him in the production of the feature film of the same name. It consequently became one of the most popular and critically acclaimed programs of its time. Sarah Michelle Gellar plays a young girl in Sunnydale, California, who discovers that she is "The Chosen One," fated to fight the scourge of vampires constantly threatening the mortals of Earth. Combining humor, soap-operatic relations between its characters, and dramatic plotlines, the show was daring, hilarious, and monumental in scope. Every episode from each of the seven seasons of the show is contained on this set.Actors and Key Contributors: Skip Schoolnik, Dan Vebber, Joss Whedon, Sarah Michelle Gellar,
