Pros: Functionally exact at Rebel 2000, potentially far less expensive.
Cons: Could be gray market, with no manufacturer warranty in States.
Bottom Line: Willing to risk no-warranty? You'll save you a bundle over the Rebel2000 (the exact same camera). It will grow with you and your needs at every level..
