Product Information
Combining concentrated 1U compute power, integrated Lights-Out management, and essential fault tolerance, the DL360 is optimized for space-constrained data center installations. This rack-mount model is configured with a 3.4GHz Xeon processor (dual processor capable), a 1MB L2 cache, an integrated U320 Smart Array 6i controller and 2GB PC2700 DDR SDRAM (expandable to 8GB). Because there is no pre-installed hard drive, you can configure storage to suit your needs. In addition to the 800MHz front bus speed and Intel E7520 chipset, the DL360 features a 3.5 1.44MB floppy drive, a 24X (max. speed) CD-ROM drive and one full length and one half length 64bit/133MHz PCI-X slot. Dual port NC7782 NICs support your communication needs. The integrated ATI Rage XL video controller uses 8MB SDRAM to support millions of colors. There is no operating system installed. Supported operating systems include: Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Novell NetWare, Linux (Red Hat, SuSE, UnitedLinux) and Solaris.Suggested Similar Products and Related Accessories

Spotlight Review
The DL360 has grown up, a good server has become a great server.

on Mon May 09 00:56:04 EDT 2005I have worked with the DL360 since its emergence on the market, We have 12 DL360s in service, 6 G4s and 6 older DL360s. It was always a good box if slightly pricey initially, but it got cheaper until in recent years it became a server to give you...
Pros: Hot Swap PSU <br/>All a 1u box could ever need.
Cons: None.
Bottom Line: A box you can take more seriously as an apps platform, not just for farms anymore. There are no better 1u servers out there..
