Solid entry-level investment..

Rating of 5 out of 5.0 Written By Trevor Ycas on 2008-10-21

I have used a pair of these cards to drive a high-performance quad-monitor desktop environment, for the purposes of intense multi-tasking and flight simulator use. The NVIDIA driver(s) are great: easy to use, highly configurable and recognized by all softwares I use. The card has only moderate 3D performance, but it is more than adequate for the flight-simulator to look realistic. Gamers might not enjoy the moderate frame-rates; for CADD/design applications this card has performaed admirably!

FYI, adding a second card did cause my motherboard to ramp up its fan speeds.
