Product Information

"Into the West" was originally presented in the spring of 2005 by TNT as a television 12 hour/6 episode movie epic miniseries. The popular dramatic production is now offered as a 4-disc DVD set for those who may have missed seeing any of the episodes on tv or who just simply wish to own this thought provoking story of the West.

"Into the West" interweaves fictional stories and people with real people and events that span over 68 years (1824-1892) full of important, and frankly, deplorable events that took place for the most part between the white man and the Native American nations. However, some of the prejudices in that era against black Americans, the Chinese emigrants, and Mexicans are also depicted in the series.
