on 2004-09-19I purchased this battery about 3 weeks ago as a backup for my S410. It's too soon to comment on whether this battery will take as many charge cycles as the OEM, but subjectively, this battery has taken about as many photos on a charge. It has gold contacts and the construction quality and finish is as good or better than the Canon. It doesn't come with a contact cover, is made in China, and the warranty is 3 years, not 2.
