on 2005-02-08I bought this model Lind Auto/Air adapter last March and I have not had any problems with it at all. The main reason I bought this unit was because I like to access the internet through WiFi hotspots(http://intel.jiwire.com/) from around the country as I travel. Fast internet service and all you need is a wireless card for your notebook or desktop computer. I just got tired of constantly having to replace my EXPENSIVE notebook batteries. Not anymore, thanks to the auto/air adapters that are available. I owned a Targus Auto/Air adapter (Model APD10US) before I bought this far superior product from Lind Electronics.
