on 2007-11-08I built a new computer 1 1/2 yrs ago and put a less expensive Lite-on DVD burner in it. It reads but will not write any more. So I took out an Old Plextor CD burner that I had in my old Computer(8yrs old now) and put it in my new one, works great. So I ordered the Plextor 810-SA to replace the Lite-on and it works perfect. When or if either of my Plextor Burners go out , they will be replaced with another Plextor.
P.S. This has been my experience with Plextor, yours may differ. :-)
