on Sun Dec 09 23:34:27 EST 2007The Seagate FreeAgent 500 GB hard drive was on sale at Best Buy one day for $99 so I decided to pick it up. I actually needed 2 internal hard drives, but the external ones were on sale for the same price as an internal drive, so I decided to purchase 2...
Pros: None.
Cons: Slow, firmware update failed, cannot use as enclosure.
Bottom Line: Run away from the Seagate FreeAgent external hard drives!.
