Product Information

This powerful Iranian drama exposes the conflicts that plague the strictly regulated Islamic nation. Rigid and stiff, Iranian law forbids teenagers to interact in public. When Tadaie (Pegah Ahangarani) and Aideen (Majid Hajizadeh) are picked up after merely walking down the street together, their families lay down the law and order them to stay away from each other. Unable to accept this oppression, Tadaie flees her home and turns to the streets for survival. THE GIRL IN THE SNEAKERS is an unflinchingly personal film.
Actors and Key Contributors:  Pegah Ahangarani, Majid Hajizadeh, Akram Mohammadi, Abdolreza Akbari, Mahmoud Jafari,
