Product Information

Tripp Lite expands its line of hard drive cables with the introduction of the new line of eSATA (SATA II) cables. This 18" data cable connects any high-speed eSATA drive, PVR/DVR, or SETOP box to an eSATA controller. SATA-II delivers higher data transfer rates (up to 3 Gbps), and the double-shielded cable design is perfect for the new generation of External SATA -II drives. These Short eSata Cables Work Fine

Rating of 5 out of 5.0 Written By Paul N. Nix on 2007-08-09

I had a need for a couple of relatively short eSata cables
but was having trouble finding cables shorter than 3 feet
until I came across these. They work just fine.

If you have a situation in which you'd have to roll-up
excess eSata cable, if you used the typical 3 foot
length, then this short cable may be a good solution.

Do be aware that the cables are a bit stiff and, given
their relatively short length, any significant misalignment
in the eSata connectors on the two devices being connected
together will translate into strain on the connectors and
they may pull loose.
