Kari Wuhrer stars as the frustrated girlfriend of a painter, Cole, who has been lacking in inspiration lately. Unable to do anything but brood over his lack of production, he neglects Ms. Wuhrer's needs, prompting her to try modeling for him. When that doesn't help, he splashes paint on her in anger, leading to an impromptu roll-in-the-paint that creates the look Cole has been looking for, and making him a substantial amount of money once his agent sees the results. So, he becomes obsessed with this new painting technique, which is fine with his girlfriend, for a while. When it becomes clear to her that Cole's obsessed with this new technique, their relationship starts to fall apart.
