on 2008-04-19100% as advertised. At least for Windows XP. Simply plug into one usb port on computer #1 and one usb port on computer # 2. Each computer will show a windows explorer-like screen with "This computer" in 1/2 and "Other computer" in the other 1/2 of the screen. It automatically refreshes every 30 seconds are so, or you can just re-double-click on the folder to show new contents. Or hit the refresh button.
From the time you plug in the USB cable, it takes about 5 seconds for the explorer window to open, and you can immediately begin transferring files. NO SOFTWARE TO INSTALL. There will be a green light on the tornado for each computer that is connected (total of 2 at a time). The lights will blink while transfer is taking place.
